This month, Power published its 2023 North America Airline Satisfaction Study, which analyzes consumer satisfaction among frequent business and leisure flyers of the largest airlines.
According to the study, passenger satisfaction has decreased for the second consecutive year, largely as a result of rising airfare prices. According to J, it dropped 22 points between 2021 and 2022. D. Power, and seven points between this year and 2022.
J. D. 7,774 passengers who traveled between March 2022 and March 2023 were polled by Power. Seven criteria were used to evaluate the airlines and assign them a point total out of 1,000.

Although overall customer satisfaction has decreased, some airlines continue to receive high ratings from passengers. They are J. D. The Power’s top North American airlines in 2023.airlines for 2023.
Best in the Premium Economy.
848 points for Delta Air Lines.
JetBlue Airlines: 840 points.
Points: 823 for Alaska Airlines.
US Airways: 821 points.
797 points for Air Canada.
Airlines United: 784 points.
Delta topped the list for the best in premium economy, despite not coming in first for the best in first or business class.

For the second year in a row, JetBlue Airways received the highest score for first/business class customer satisfaction (893).
The airline announced in May that it was expanding its loyalty program with a number of new benefits, such as early boarding (apart from those who purchased basic economy tickets) and expedited security checks.

The airline, which is among the oldest in the industry, offers service to more than 1,000 locations across more than 60 nations on six continents.
With an 848, United Airlines came in third place. The airline serves airports in 354 destinations across 48 countries, according to its website.
The experience of flying is getting noticeably worse for everyone, not just you.
According to the airline’s website, passengers traveling in Delta’s premium economy class can adjust their seats for “even more legroom,” enjoy a streamlined airport experience, and receive improved service with a complimentary alcoholic beverage.
The second-place finisher was JetBlue Airways, which received a score of 840, 20 points higher than the overall average of 820 out of 1000.
Alaska Airlines ranked third with an overall customer satisfaction score of 823. It is the fifth-largest airline in North America and has five hubs, with Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington serving as its main hub.

Southwest Airlines: 827 points.
Delta Airlines: 801 points.
JetBlue Airways: 800 points.
Alaska Airlines: 781 points.
WestJet: 777 points.
Allegiant Air: 775 points.
United Airlines: 770 points.

American Airlines: 764 points.
Spirit Airlines: 727 points.
When it comes to economy and basic economy, Southwest Airlines beat Delta and JetBlue for the top spot.
Southwest Airlines scored 827 on the overall customer satisfaction index. It is one of the world’s largest low-cost carriers and has services in over 120 destinations in the U. S. and 10 countries.
In 2018, Southwest Airlines carried more passengers than any other U. S. airline, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
